When changing the text background opacity in the chat settings, the scoreboard sidebar stays unaffected, rendering some text colors barely readable. It would be a lot more accessible if the text background setting would also change the scoreboard background (or better, a seperate slider for scoreboards)

      Reproduce

      • Construct a scoreboard which displays some information.
        /scoreboard objectives add MC-227576 dummy
        /scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar MC-227576
        /scoreboard players set @s MC-227576 12345

      • Set the "Text Background Opacity" chat setting to 100%.
      • Type something into the chat and press enter.
      • Compare the background opacity of the chat to the information displayed in the scoreboard.
→ Notice how the "Text Background Opacity" setting does not affect the background opacity of the scoreboard overlay.

      Expected Result

The setting would affect the opacity of the scoreboard background
