The message "You can sleep only at night and during thunderstorms" is displayed when attempting to sleep and you cannot. i.e. It is day and/or not storming.
The message "No amount of rest can pass this night" is only displayed when you are able to sleep and enter a bed (night/storming).
The later message should always display when sleeping is disabled as the former implies that you will be able to sleep at a later time.
