OS: Windows 10 Pro for Workstations - 21H1
Java: it happens with every java version but I use that bundled with Minecraft.
Hardware - !!NVIDIA OPTIMUS!! - MSI GS63VR 7RF:
CPU - i7-7700HQ (56W, C-states disabled, SpeedShift disabled)
iGPU - HD 630 (1.2GHz)
dGPU - GTX 1060 6GB (78W, x16 PCIe 3.0 lanes)
Display - 3840x2160@60hz (other resolutions tested and same result)
RAM - 2x8GB 2400 15-15-15-36
I tested with several drivers. It happens from 1st kabylake HD630 drivers to the latest. Same with NVIDIA drivers, from first 1060's mobile pascal driver to the latest.OS: Windows 10 Pro for Workstations - 21H1 Java: it happens with every java version but I use that bundled with Minecraft. This really happens with any minecraft version. If you ask me, the priority must be "Important". As the title says. Even if we go to "javaw.exe file > Properties > Compatibility" and we check "Disable fullscreen optimizations" it results into a borderless window with DWM's vsync ON, and a lot of stuttering and input lag (it can be partially fixed by enabling ingame VSYNC, also it adds a lot of mooore input lag). With integrated GPU it works as expected (and I'm forced to use this to get a good experience). Other OpenGL games can enter into fullscreen mode (LWJGL based games also), so it isnt a driver or related fault. I think the issue is with Minecraft.
I waited for several time (like 2,5 years, no joke) and its still happening. Minecraft Java + NVIDIA Optimus system is unplayable. Only this game.
Please fix it.
