May just be an optifine issue but I was just crouch-placing (spruce) signs on barrels and they showed up as black not the spruce texture.

After I tested it, I figured out sometimes moving gives it the right texture back, but if you changed how your player was stood - still broken. Re-logs didn't fix it and it was a bit of a strange one... 

I didn't see anything on this when I drafted it so sorry if its a copy.
