I recently downloaded Minecraft Java on my new Windows 10 Laptop to play with a friend. I generated a new default single player world & started to experience lag. I resolved the issue by lowering my in game graphic settings, but started to notice a huge input lag whenever I walk around. I'm using my laptop keyboard with default Minecraft controls & I don't have this issue with any other applications. My character has a late response whenever I try to move, stop, or change directions. Sometimes It won't read sprint controls even with full hunger. Can someone tell me what might be causing this and how to fix the input lag?
Edit: I'd also like to note that all other applications were closed while playing Minecraft.
