Shortly, for some reason, I just can't get the dang stone bricks, sandstone and nether bricks from stacking respective slabs in crafting table together with simple datapack, because even though I use "result": "stone_bricks" or "result": "minecraft:stone_bricks" line, it still uses chiseled variations of these blocks. I even looked up into game's files and tried to peek into  vanilla recipes and found out I was doing everything right, it's just the game for some reason refuses to use the exact blocks I want.

And that's even present in the latest snapshot which I tried just now.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
