I would assume it'd affect all versions. Basically, the story is, I was playing on a bedrock + java server and it'd force you to use/download a pack while on its server, and after a few days of playing on that 1.17.1 server, the font just changed by itself. Then whenever I play other versions like 1.8.9 the font carries over. No matter what texture pack I use or even if I don't use one at all it still doesn't change the weird font.
