(I play on a server with some friends)
I went mining for around 3 hours, and put all of my ores into a shulker box. I placed it down in my base next to a few other shulker boxes. I went through the nether to the community village that was about 2000 blocks away to help fight a raid. sadly I died in the raid and respawned at my base. After beating the raid, I went back to my base to see that a portion of my base was gone, and some of my shulker boxes were gone too. all of the shulker boxes that got deleted were in the same chunk. What's weird is there was a chest in the chunk and it remained. there was also some damage to the base which I originally thought was a chunk error or some sort of chunk corruption, but the blocks that got deleted were along the x and z coordinates, which is unlike anything I've seen before. One of my friends has a lot more knowledge on file corruption and chunk errors, but he couldn't figure out why this happened either.
