      The Issue

It's basically MC-97521 (which is marked as Works As Intended) but it causes a crash which I believe is not intended.

I always open the output log when I play the game.
I can attach the following 3 rows:
(The rest is not related, they are all startup related and not gameplay.)

13:50:03.851 fem Render thread Unable to play empty soundEvent: minecraft:entity.cod.ambient
      13:51:24.472 launcher main
13:51:24.472 monitor Process Monitor Process crashed with exit code -1073740791

Although I could not replicate the bug, it was during a gameplay on a Vanilla Server with OptiFine Client.

Server Vanilla Minecraft 1.18.2 Running on Ubuntu Server
      Client OptiFine 1.18.2 HD_U_H6 Running on Win11

      Optifine Support

Contacted OptiFine support prior, I got told it's more likely a problem on Vanilla than OptiFine although by not a member of the developer team but an active community member there (actively does support). So that's why I'm here.

      Reproduction:

      Failed to do so.
/playsound does not cause this issue.
Not happened since (I swam next to cods for a few minutes just because of this...)
Crash happened while near water cutting down trees...

If the bug is marked as a duplicate please provide information on the reason and where should I go for a fix on this issue. (If it reappears)
A believe it's not Working As Intended as it caused an accidental crash which should not happen during normal gameplay.

For more information contact me, I usually respond within a few days since I will get an email on updates for this issue.
