Since 1.9 it is possible to increase the render distance by pressing F3 and F and reduce it by pressing F3 shift and F. This is a quicker way to change it than looking into a messy menu. I always changes my render distance using this. I didn't know that its in the options too. Since 1.19 there is a bug where this shortcut doesn't work anymore instead it opens the F3 debug screens and swaps the mainhand with the offhand even though the bug is not present in 1.18.2. This bug needs to be fixed as soon as possible becuase I want to be able to change it quickly again.
