What I expected to happen was...:

When the golem, the guardian of the village which is built by villagers got hurt by monsters and they are dying, villagers(smiths\armorers) should use iron ingots to heal it so that it won't die and villagers don't have to build a new one.

What actually happened was...:
When a iron golem created by villeagers got damaged, these villagers just ignore it and do nothing! If they have the power to create a new one, why don't they just use their materials to heal the existing guardian? 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a village with golem(s)
2. Attack the golem until it's damaged severely
3.Now villagers will ignore their damaged guardian
