      Moderator Note

      It is intended behavior that you cannot begin sprinting while riding entities or flying with elytra. See MC-257082.

      Testing out finding Smithing Templates in survival in the new snapshot, and I made a boat to sail. However, it appears that pressing sprint (and double tapping W) doesn't increase my sailing speed.
