i tried to kill an enderman which was picking up dirt, killed it and did not drop the dirt

the enderman was supposed to drop the carried dirt block upon killing it

*What actually happened was it died without dropping the block

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get an enderman to pick up a block
2. .kill it
