This bug is also related to MC-255044, but when a camel or horse die, they still continue to flee and panic in their death animation, even though this behavior shouldn't continue as every other mob stops panicking when they enter their death animation. To test this behavior, use the following command to summon a camel and then punch it, it should die when you punch it, but it still continues to panic even though it shouldn't:
/summon camel ~ ~ ~ {Health:1f,DeathTime:-200s}
You can then compare this behavior to a normal mob like a pig using the following command:
/summon pig ~ ~ ~ {Health:1f,DeathTime:-200s}
*Note, this applies to all horse-like mobs in the game including donkeys, mules, skeleton horses, and the unused zombie horse.
