I noticed my world icon had changed to the default gray one and when I logged in, every block I had placed was gone and the world was back to how it was before. My advancements and stats were also reset however my inventory stayed the same. Another thing I noticed was that some entities didn't disappear (armor stands, hopper minecarts, and villagers)
