I am using Korean IME. Whenever I chat using Korean, I have to switch to Korean, type chat and press Enter, and then switch to English again. If the input language is not English, Minecraft ignores the input(WASD) and instead shows small IME window on the left top of the screen.

It is really annoying to chat in my language in Minecraft. I do not want to consciously switch to English again after chatting to move player.

There are several community mods such as CocoaInput, which fixes this issue. It shows that solving this problem is technically possible. I hope that Minecraft fix this issue.

It was lasted from long time ago to nowadays. I am using Microsoft Windows 11.

Many players are having this same issue and I think it is a serious bug.
