      Summary:

The sound effects that play after falling from somewhere do not directly correlate with the amount of damage taken from the fall.

Steps that can be taken to reproduce:

      A.

      1. Fall from a height great enough to cause fall damage.
      2. Land on a cobweb with enough speed so that you do not get slowed down.

      B.

      1. Fall from a height great enough to cause fall damage.
      2. Land in a sweet berry bush.

      C.

      1. Fall from a height great enough to cause fall damage.
      2. Land on powder snow.

      D.

      1. Fall from a height great enough to cause fall damage.
      2. Throw an ender pearl and teleport to it before touching the ground.

      E.

      1. Fall from a height great enough to cause fall damage.
      2. Start riding an entity as you touch the ground (this becomes easier to do with more speed).

      F.

      1. Give yourself a negative level of jump boost using the /effect command with an amplifier of 129 or greater.
      2. Fall from a height great enough to cause fall damage.

      Expected result:

The fall small or fall big sound should not play, as no damage is taken.

      Actual result:

The fall small or fall big sound plays, despite either taking no damage or taking too little damage to warrant the fall big sound in the event of using an ender pearl and falling from 4 to 7 blocks after teleporting.
