What I was trying to do is put my own music on the music folder of my custom resource pack I made that would replace the random music that comes up while playing minecraft to my music I put on. Got the assets folder, pack-mcmeta, and pack.png right after I made a folder with my name, minecraft folder in assets and all those folders that make up the game on the newest version. So I went to the music folder and renamed my custom music to whatever the default name was and converted them into an ogg file and replaced it. After I was done I found out that after a while of playing, it was playing the default music still even when I enabled my resource pack in options.
