They should change the icon for brown and red mushrooms because when you have more than one in your inventory, the icon is covered by the quantity indicator (number). This could be easily fixed by aligning the mushroom to the top-left.

I have been playing Minecraft since version 1.16.5, and I have waited through five versions for this to be fixed, and I can't understand how no one has complained about this yet. Searching for mushrooms in a chest takes up time because the number almost completely covers the icon.

There are also other icons that are hidden by its quantity, I'm uploading a screenshot.

I know this can be fixed with resource packs, but the idea is not to fix the game with mods and textures.

I report  this because it can be considered a visual bug.
