Throwing an item out of the creative inventory sometimes results in the item duplicating itself.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. While in the Creative mode inventory, obtain an item and place it in your hotbar.
2. Look downwards.
3. Drop the item from your inventory.
4. When you pick it up, very quickly click on it with your mouse and click on the empty area outside the inventory to drop it again. Note that this doesn't work if the Drop Item keybind (Q by default) is used.
5. Observe how many items enter your inventory when you pick it up again.

Observed Results:

Two items are picked up when only one was thrown.

Expected Results:

One item would be picked up.
