MC-105068 was only partially fixed in 25w04a. You now hear the shield block sound when attacking a shielding player as expected, and you now hear the shield disabling sound when disabling a shielding player's shield as expected. However, the player hurts sound still plays on top of these actions when it shouldn't, as the shielding user is not taking damage.
