This ticket reports the same issue as MCPE-157781 but for Java Edition. Before snapshot 23w12a, mounting a rideable entity played a short animation of the player moving toward it. As of 23w12a, this animation is missing.

How to reproduce

1. Summon a rideable entity (minecart, boat etc.)
2. Mount it

Expected result

Mounting the entity would show a brief animation of you moving toward it, as it did before 23w12a.

Observed result

Mounting the entity no longer plays a quick animation of you moving toward it.
