Once you beat the enderdragon in SMP, People ALWAYS delete the end portal. I am unable to place to end portal in the end to get back into the real world. I lose all my stuff (Including written books, which cannot be returned) and am unable to get back through nether portals since 1.4.4. There is no escape from the end once the end portal is destroyed.
