Hearing random exploding sound.

What I expected to happen was...:
A TNT or creeper blowing up nearby and I would find a crater.

What actually happened was...:
Thunder using one of the explosion sounds.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Simply wait for it to storm in creative or survival.

Note I heard two different explosion sounds in my survival map when I was nowhere near a creeper and wasn't messing with TNT. I also searched to see if this was already reported and it hasn't. It may be part of the game but I don't recall other versions using TNT explosion sounds for thunder.
