Survival
A naturally spawned Iron Golem is consistently attacking my player. It can appear to be neutral 1 second and then attack another. Even after my death or its death the aggression continues. I have not knowingly killed or attacked any villagers.
In the past, if I have inadvertently hurt or killed a villager, the golem will attack, kill me and then become neutral towards my player. This appears to be no longer the case (at least in my situation).
Update: I travelled 1000 blocks away in order to unload the chunks the village is in. The iron golem now remains neutral - at least until whatever triggered the aggression happens again.
Update #2: After giving this some thought I recalled I had once used a fishing rod to move a villager. While that did not hurt the villager, I believe it caused my reputation to become extremely low. Had I initiated a number of trades I could have increased my reputation. I had been under the impression that if a golem killed you, your reputation would reset to neutral.
Unless someone else can provide more information I think this ticket can be resolved.
