On Minecraft 1.7.4 Multiplayer when players are warped into a world at once there is a brief period of lag while chunks wont load. During this period some players are kicked for flying because they "spawn" inside the chunks.

Server running version 1.6.4 does not have this issue at all. Only 1.7.4
