So it seems as if they were charging at the doors, but it looks far too glitchy to be a feature. They also appear to be inside walls and things at moments. There doesn't seem to be a preference of direction. The sliding is no more than a few meters (blocks). Also happens in creative with interest in villagers. As far as it appeared to me - only at the doors, only zombies, only if they wanted to go through it. They couldn't attack in that glitch-location of theirs. Only the "real" location.
The motion is as following: sliding sliding sliding back to (possibly)real location, sliding sliding sliding sliding teleport back to real location.
