To Mojang,
The new villager crop interface is mis-implemented. the only form of crops that are being placed down is Wheat. IDK how you would fix it, possibly make villagers place down the same thing they uprooted. I started off with several rows of carrot crop and its all been consumed by villagers and replaced with wheat.
