Just experieced lag with the placement of sponge underwater

*What I expected to happen was a smooth displacement of water and replacement, with bigger bodies of water.

What actually happened was...:
its displaced and placed water but with alot of lag

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place a few blocks of spong
2. in a big body of water
3. .experience a frame drop or lag
