I was away from Minecraft for a few years and my memory on some the details is a little fuzzy. But I remember that around the time smooth lighting was implemented the propagation (or extension) of light through glass was broken. I also remember I wasn't the only one upset about it and a fix was promised eventually. So when I returned to Minecraft almost 3 years later I was more than a little disgruntled that this hadn't been fixed yet. Couple months after my return here I'm still upset enough that I went to search for the issue to check the status on it, and I couldn't find one. So I apologize if this is a duplicate, but, I want to make sure it hasn't been forgotten. I really miss my glass chandeliers. Glowstone is too ugly for most things, redstone lamps don't fit with every motif, and spamming torches gets old.
