my .minecraft files are empty and the game wont run. when i doubleclick the minecraft icon the launcher window comes up but it only say "Bootstrap (v5)" and wont load anything else. i have tried to redownload the game many times but the same issue persists and i dont know what else to do its the only game that is doing this. PLEASE HELP!!!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. i dont know if there are steps to this i just want to play the game but it suddenly refused to work and all the files within the .minecraft file are gone and redownloading the game isnt fixing the problem
