Just updated to 1.8 and started a new map to test it. will not turn, I can move after about a minuet of loading but am unable to look around and move my mouse

What I expected to happen was...: to be able to look around

What actually happened was...: I was not able to look around
Describe what happened here I am unable to move around and when I try to place a block it spam clicks

Steps to Reproduce:
1. have a mac
2. update to 1.8 on said mac
3. start a world
4. not be able to look around
