When I first download a new Minecraft application, there is no resource pack. After I try switching to 1.7.10, everything works fine and the resource pack folder is reinstalled.
Files in .minecraft are as follows
'assets' file folder
'libraries' file folder
'logs' file folder
'resourcepacks' file folder
'saves' file folder
'versions, file folder
'launcher' executable jar file
'launcher.pack.lzma' LZMA file
'launcher_profiles.json' JSON file
'options' text document
'textures_0' PNG image
'textures_1' PNG image
'textures_2' PNG image
'textures_3' PNG image
'textures_4' PNG image
Both before and after returning to 1.8, placing the textures in the resourcepacks folder seems to do nothing. After returning to 1.8, regardless of the textures location, the problem of the missing and messed up textures still isn't resolved. To be clear. block textures are the only textures that are not stable. The attachments are the crash report after trying to open the pause menu after taking a screenshot, and a .png file of a world in 1.8. The 5 texture files mentioned above are different sizes of textures for minecraft. I have searched for different solutions, but none have worked. Thank you for trying to help me solve the problem.
