When creating a Nether portal in the Nether, the portal created in the overworld spawns in terrain/biome different then what should be at those coordinates per that specific seed. The seed is -1659064258909803122.
I created a portal in the Nether at x:24, y:115, z:347. According to Amidst, the corresponding place in the overworld is a desert with a village. I went through the portal, and ended up in an Extreme Hills biome, but with the coordinates of where there should be a desert, at x:192, z:-2784. The coordinates matched up, but the biome changed, almost like the game started using a different seed to generate the overworld as I came through out of the Nether.
