Our world has limited resources, so we all need to recycle. Minecraft should make a statement about recycling, by allowing used tools, weapons and armor to be recycled. In my world, I have a special furnace, and if I place crafted iron, gold, chainmail or diamond items into the furnace, they are converted to the number of ore blocks which would have been used to create these items. The furnace then can smelt them back into reusable materials. Wooden bits, as well as fuel are consumed, but these are renewable resources. I made this furnace using redstone and command blocks, but it would be really cool if this kind of special furnace could be crafted and used in general, perhaps made from some special materials, similarly to, for example, the ender chest.
