Disclaimer, I played on 1.4 ? ~ 1.6 ? for years, never cared to update because it worked for me. friends(and most IMPORTANTLY their KIDS) want to play now/are getting into the game, and all they do is complain about the worlds on there computers not being as cool as mine. just oceans, lots of ocean.

Put the summary of the bug you're having here

What I expected to happen was...:
flying around, trying seeds/settings, looking for something other than ocean

      What actually happened was...:
ocean, deep ocean, ocean, deep ocean, ocean ocean ocean
      CRASH.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Put a step by step guide on how to trigger the bug here
      2. Do alot of flying around getting the world to generate (oceans endless oceans, or if your luckly, endless forests, and super rare endless deseret, i've yet to see a verity or dervisity)
      3. read above, just fly around.

my machine is fairly quick, SSD, decent mobo, good ram, 6950 video card, i was watching the resource monitor and see java running 50+ threads. nothing really was maxing out, memory/disk/cpu. just javaw
