I have a weird bug which occours when you want to create custom block models and destroy them in survival mode. This issue appears with every block which has cube-elements positioned outside of the 16x16x16 boundaries. It seems that the texture-atlas just uses parts of the texture which sits relatively next to the break animation.
I attached a screenshot to show the issue on a custom modeled fence-gate (open) which has its door hinges outside the normal dimensions.

Is this still an issue in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w46a or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

This is a big problem for me since I tend to go outside the boundaries of Minecraft
Seriously though, this should not be intended.

This is similar to MC-65994 about the game's uv lock texture mapping not wrapping, which was (partially) fixed.

Strongly assuming this is working as intended since Minecraft simply is 16x16x16 block based.

@Lucas. Chunks have nothing to do with block models

*16x16. Chunks do not have vertical size.
