the game doesn't update chunks. when exiting a boat your glitched back to the original place you got on the boat. when breaking blocks in minecraft the blocks break but reappear and must be broken again. gravel/sand does not fall. animals don't move until hit. resource packs sometimes get reset back to default resource pack. throwing a potion doesn't effect you until the game updates the chunk.
