Realize this might not be a minecraft issue but would like a minecraft solution.

I get this error while running plug-ins related to OverViewer. Is there a way to detect block corruption in minecraft, reload/seed chunks, and/or correct problems.

      The reason I ask:

1.6.4 I had sections of the world load out of sync and looked like I had a big earthquake that cracked and shifted the world.

1.7.10 I had some blocks get corrupt and half of my hotel was one big massive hole.

Now with 1.8.1 I've got this unknown error. So if it's really a corrupt chuck. How do I reload it and/or repair? Or is there a specific file I can re-load from a backup? Are chucks stored as separate files?

Would be nice if there was some easy way to deal with chunk corruption right from the server console.
