Before you say this is a duplicate (which it shouldn't be I searched for this issue for over 30 minutes and found nothing), I would like to add if this is a duplicate can you improve the search feature? The previous 3 issues I found I searched for and found nothing yet there was a duplicate.

BACK TO THE ISSUE

This bug has been in Minecraft for a while now since I believe 1.5. Sometimes when I place a sign, the sign turns all dark and I can't see the text that is displayed on the sign. I don't know if this is a actual bug or if it is just happening to me. I have tried smooth lighting and a bunch other video options but this still won't work. I have a screenshot and a forced crash report attached. Hope it helps!
