My Minecraft won't go past the "Play" button because it crashes.

      What I expected to happen was...:
      the game would actually open.

      What actually happened was...:
      when I pressed play there was a notification that told me to update my graphics device. So I did. Now, the notification doesn't show up but my Minecraft still crashes when I press "Play."
