My Minecraft jar has shaders with forge installed, and all run perfectly. When I go into Options->Resource Packs as soon as I click the button to open the packs, the client crashes.
After this I delete all my verisons and the whole .minecraft and have a clean slate and try it again, same thing happens. (This only happens when any amount of resource packs is present in the folder.) Is this a common problem?
