When zooming out a map that was activated on the edge of a new area (just outside of an existing fully zoomed out map), the 1:1 pixels fill in as normal. However, when attempting to zoom out the map using paper the map reverts to a blank with the in-game name set at "Map #0". If another zoom-out is attempted, the product in the crafting bench has the correct map number, but when clicked produces a blank Map #0 again.
I'm playing on a Minecraft Realms server, 2 other maps have been created, zoomed, and copied multiple times with no issues. Reconnecting to the Realms server does nothing, and a full restart of the game produces the correct in-game name but the map is still blank and needs to be refilled by visiting the area. Is this a bug, or working as intended?
Update: After waking up I tried zooming out again and revisiting the area, Map #0 updates to the correct map number without a logout after you update pixels on it, but still needs to be completely filled in.
