When I load a new world or my current world, I go into spectator mode (open to lan) for the xray effect, but as I click "save and exit" the game freezes then crashes saying "Java TM SE binary not responding" once it closes the minecraft launcher appears reading "not a crash report but what the game has done".

It only does this in spectator mode, other modes it seems fine, but it is really odd.
