I was about to mine when I noticed the torches I placed far earlier were gone, and only in one area of the mine, I fixed the issue, exited the mine and came back minutes later to find they were gone again.

What I expected to happen was...:
My torches to still be where I placed them

What actually happened was...:
They disappeared...scary

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place torches underground
2. Go away from torches until you are far away enough to where you are a few chunks away and can't see them
3. Go back to area where torches were placed
