i have decided to play the snapshot and i discovered while trying to kill a chicken that breaking tall grass, the grass you can walk through, crashed my game. i tried it again and the same result. and i also had an issue that was fixed by creating a second new world that a brand new world crashed my game for no reason when entering. but the grass thing is something you may want to look at.
