Super Secret Settings don't work

      Whenever I try to click on the super secret settings button in release 1.8.8, it does nothing. I'm using the most recent (1.8.8) version of Optifine, if that helps. Before when I was on the 1.8.7 version when I clicked the SSS button it gave me a black screen and the game still was running, but after updating to 1.8.8 it doesn't do anything at all now.
