While I was trying to explain to my mother how to stop fire from spreading with commands(/gamerule doFireTick false), she told me she already tried that and it did not work.
So I asked her what the command she had used was and she said doFireTrick.

I tabbed to pull up the list of gamerules and doFireTrick was there.
I then checked my computers minecraft and doFireTrick was not there. so I dont know whats going on.
we both run on the same operating system, on different computers.

The first screenshot is how it is on my computer.
The second is my mothers computer.

My mother is not running any mods as she does not know how to install them. Even confused between the difference of what is a mod and what is a resource pack.
