The particle blockcrack does not work with anything but the missing item texture. Leaving the number blank as in "blockcrack" rather than, say, "blockcrack_8589" only gives missing-item textured particles. I understand that I need to multiply the data value by 4096 and add it to the ID, but that only says that it can't find the particle.

1.Try this command out- /particle blockcrack_8589 ~ ~ ~ 0.5 0.5 0.5 1 500

2. 500 zombie-head particles do not appear!
