Severe world/screen rendering issue while facing south in specific areas

      While facing south, and looking more or less towards the horizon, I'm getting an issue in a specific region of a server world where the game is rendering very strangely. The screen is mostly black, with some red lines, and it flickers depending on the exact angle I'm looking. The screenshots below are at roughly 131, 65, 391. Rebooting the game fixed the issue.

      Probably not related, but directly prior to the issue I used up 1.25 shovels creating paths. It may have started directly after stepping on a cobble stair. Villagers, cows, chickens, and a a few dogs were nearby.
